Please note that in accordance with Massachusetts state law, HDPT supports Direct Access. Direct Access allows patients to see a licensed physical therapist WITHOUT a physician’s prescription or referral. Direct Access to physical therapy ensures that you are able to access the highest quality of care quickly. Early access eliminates the need for an additional doctor’s appointment and can save you time and money and lead to better outcomes. You are in control of your healthcare.
